Deep cleaning with minimal discomfort. Great experience!

The folks at Butler Family Dental are always friendly and pleasant to do business with. They offer an annual dental savings plan that provides a substantial discount on services. For my wife and I, it has definitely been a savings over insurance plans that we have investigated.

Everyone I met on my first visit to the office were more than happy to make me at ease and to alleviate any anxiety I had going to a new dentist. Dr. Chris was very gentle and explained everything he was going to do. I will definitely be going back for all my dental needs in the future.

Everyone in here is super nice. Dr. Butler is very down to earth and will answer your concerns. Moving from a very great dentist is unnerving, however, the staff makes you feel comfortable very quick. Dr. Butler and his assistants are great. They are "light handed" and all procedures are almost painless. 5 stars!

I have had severe dental anxiety my whole life and needed work done after 7 years of not being seen. Dr. Butler was recommended to me by a friend and I’m glad I took the recommendation. Everyone at the office is patient, affirming and gentle. I was supported before my first appt began and indicating I had high anxiety wasn’t missed. I appreciate that their office intake process is mindful of your intake survey after such bad experiences with dentists who brushed right over my anxiety before going on to make it worse. The first time I came in they allowed me to do a gentle intake where no work was done, to talk through my concerns and options before prescribing me something I could take for future appts to help get myself back to the office. I have always felt heard when presenting my concerns and have never been made to feel embarrassed or ashamed for being afraid which for those struggling with anxiety can be the worst part. I’ve now been back 4 times to get all my work done and the staff know my name now and follow up with me. It generally feels like the staff at Dr. Butler's office care and truly stand by their expertise as an office specializing in dental anxiety. As I’m writing this review also celebrating that I felt safe enough to come here by myself for the first time. It may not be needed for everyone but if dental anxiety has kept you away like it has for me. This is the right place for you to go.

I had such a pleasant experience here this morning. Everyone was incredibly nice and understanding. I just went in for a teeth cleaning and some X-rays, but I’m looking forward to my next visit!

The folks at Butler Family Dental are professional, kind, and compassionate. I am a terrible dental patient, as I suffer a great deal of fear and anxiety about dental work (no one should be so up in my business!) and I don’t respond to the numbing in a typical way, which has historically lead to some pretty traumatic experiences with dentists not realizing or not believing me when I said I needed more than the average patient, and that we needed to wait longer for it to take effect. Butler Family Dental has worked so carefully and kindly with me, and together we have found an approach that actually works! I am not sure I’ll ever get to the point of looking forward to going to the dentist, but I sure do like their team. Thanks to them, I’m no longer resistant to having dental work done. That is a big win! I know I can’t be the only person who turns a bit feral when you hear the drill turn on…. These guys have strategies to help to tune out the fear, including loud music and pretty good drugs 😉 Talk with them frankly about your fears and your needs around your dental health, and they will find a way to accommodate your concerns. I am very grateful!! And my teeth have never looked better 😁

Dr. Butler and his caring staff are wonderful! I had some phobias about the dentist and they worked with me to relieve my anxiety. They also diagnosed me with having severe tongue-tied issues, which my mother had thought was the cause of some long-standing speech issues that speech therapy has never corrected. I was referred to a specialist in Portland to have this corrected. This is a life-changing procedure that no one else paid any attention to until Dr. Butler and his team. My family and myself will always be grateful! Thank you to everyone at Butler Family Dental!

They are very kind people, I found out after scheduling an appointment that my insurance wasn’t specifically taken (it’s insurance's fault for being so confusing to navigate). Butler Family Dental helped me by suggesting alternate locations and were overall very supportive of my health even though I was no longer going to be a new patient.

It’s nice to have a business with people who clearly appreciate how difficult finding a doctor that takes your insurance can be.

Efficient, no pain, kind, take care of you.

The doctor did a comprehensive exam after a clerical error said I was meant to only have a short exam, and the tech was kind and also very thorough. The front desk staff were pleasant and went out of their way to make sure I got accurate estimates without accidentally tripping my insurance company into thinking I’d had the work done already and used up my benefits. They were easily willing to do estimates for two different treatment options for me. I was able to get in for a new patient exam and for my long treatment appointment within a really reasonable time frame. I’m very happy with this whole office. I would recommend them.

Went great. All teeth are now pain free and comfortable, and they are truly proactive with my A1C for my diabetes.

I thought the Dental Hygienist was outstanding. She was 23 years old (Didn’t get her name), but she did some extra steps that ensured my teeth were clean and unstained.
